No time to waste to give an introduction about Devourment,every fan of brutality knows that this band is just amazing.

I was waiting for this album and wondering how it will sounds, and when i heard the track « fed to the pigs » on myspace i was completely surprised i didn’t expect to hear something so great and talking about this song it’s my favourit from the whole album, playing as usual extremly fast this band is getting more and more higher pushing all their abilities into deep brutality this is what makes devourment so unik and masters of Slam.

So there is no suprise when you hear « unleash the carnivores » from the 1st title to the last one all you can hear is the savage brutality done in the typical devourment trademark, but i have to mention that i detected some changes and especially their sound if we compare this last album with Butcher the weak you can easily hear the difference, and i think it’s good well yeah usually i don’t like when bands change a lot to their style or try to add some new sounds to try to be original but don’t worry this album is a pure devourment one , a great piece of slaming brutality, orgasmic gutturals and inhuman drums add the massive guitar riffing ,talking about guitar thanks to them they didn’t try to add some insane technical approach to let it sound different ,because if they did it they would brobably lose many fans, they kept it true to their style that means « pure brutality ». Im always fascinating when i hear the drumming , something from another dimension so damn fast and very tight.

If i can find a bad side to this album it would be the similarities between the songs, and it was so short for me around 34min didn’t satisfy my thirst i was asking for more, but it’s ok so as every maniac of slam i m just waiting for the next album.

The beautiful devourment maggot  seems to grow up, now it got many eyes, pretty sick.
